Message from President Debra Hoffman:

 

The Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2007 is off to a great start.  So far in 2007, the class has focused on Economic Development/Growth, Transportation, Education, and Water issues.  They have toured a migrant camp; TECO Big Bend; Belleview Biltmore Hotel; Ruth Eckerd Hall; Bay News 9; Tropicana Field, Tampa Bay Watch; Midtown; Polk Theatre; Publix; Solicore; Starkey Ranch; Longleaf Development; Marchman Technical School; and VLOC.  We will be traveling to Tallahassee in March; focus on Arts and Sports in April; Law Enforcement & Tourism in May and our closing retreat/MacDill AFB in June.

 

Washington DC Trip - We are also looking at a Washington DC Trip on May 17 & 18, 2007.  Please let us know if you would be interested in attending the trip.  We will need to limit the total number of attendees to 20 with an estimated cost of $1500 per person (could be lower or higher).  We will be able to give a better cost range once we know if there is enough interest and plans are more formal.  Please contact Alice Bessette at (813) 486-8917 or alice@leadershiptampabay.com to express your interest.

 

Alumni Dues:

Everyone should have received their renewal for alumni dues.  If you have not sent in your payment, please remit to Leadership Tampa Bay, Post Office Box 1315, Tampa, FL  33601, as soon as possible. 

 

Directory Sponsorships:  $50 for company name only, $75 for business card size ad; $125 for a half page ad or $200 for a full page ad in the 2007 directory.

LTB Annual Meeting & Class Graduation – DATE CHANGE:  Old date was June 21, 2007, New Date is Thursday, June 28, 2007.  We will be having a silent auction at the Annual Meeting, please contact Alice Bessette with auction items.
